Business Code of Conduct

All Sellix-powered businesses are expected to adhere to our code of conduct when selling products on Sellix.

Sellix aims to accommodate a safe atmosphere for both buyers and businesses. As such, we do not authorize the sale, transfer, or distribution of certain goods and services.

This policy is a part of our Terms of Service. By opening a Sellix-powered business, you’re agreeing to this policy and our Terms of Service.

There are some things that cannot be sold using our platform because they:

  • are prohibited by the payment processing service

  • are in violation of the laws in the countries where we service

Selling Policy

You may only use Sellix to sell products that you own, have the legal right to sell, or have a license to sell. You may not sell files that fall under any of the following categories:

  • infringe on any third-party copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights

  • be involved in the sale of transmission of unsolicited email ("spam"), spam services, email lists, or any spam supporting systems and/or software

  • be involved in the sale of counterfeit or stolen items

  • be involved in fraudulent activity

  • documents used for personal identification, including but not limited to passports, financial documents, and birth certificates

  • stocks or shares

  • blood, bodily fluids, or body parts

  • fireworks or explosives

  • pharmaceuticals and controlled substances

  • misrepresented goods, or goods that do not exist

  • be involved in threats, harassment, or libelous activity

  • material that constitutes "hate speech", whether directed at an individual or group and whether based upon the race, sex, creed, nationality, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, or the language of such a group or individual

  • violate anyone's privacy or publicity rights

  • harm, or attempt to harm minors, including but not limited to child pornography. Any violations will immediately be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency

  • contain defamatory, hateful, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable material relating to bestiality or depicting non-consensual sex acts

  • be part of any pyramid, phasing, farming, or Ponzi scheme or engaging in other deceptive practices

  • contain any computer program or code that contains viruses, worms, cracks, time bombs, trojan horses, or other malicious computer code that may damage or detrimentally interfere with any system, data, or personal information

  • promote or provide assistance to any activity providing a significant risk or injury or death

Customization Policy

As we continue to roll out updates and new introductions to our customization system, we want to ensure that no bad actors are utilizing the Sellix brand on violating trust with customers. Here's what you can't do with our customization system:

  • edit the sellix-banner-subscription text tag. "Starter", "Entrepreneur", "Pro", "Business" are all generated by our system

  • edit the feedback.sold text. You can either hide it in your settings or work to keep it public

  • any information provided to customers by Sellix that may be altered is not also allowed

Account Safety

The sale, transfer, or otherwise lease of any Sellix account is not allowed without prior explicit approval. Sellix employees will not be able to help recover your account if sold, transferred, or leased.

You must not give your password to any other individuals or allow access to your account by any other individuals.

Violations

If you believe a Sellix-powered business is in violation of this policy, please contact support. Our team will investigate whether a violation has occurred or not. Any content that is found to violate any of these selling policies will be removed immediately.

Updates

These selling policies may be amended at any time by posting the new policies on Sellix. All amended policies shall be effective immediately after they have been posted on Sellix without prior notice. Your continued use of Sellix will constitute your acceptance of any changes or additions to this policy.
