Multi-factor authentication is an extra layer of security for your Sellix account. Instead of only entering a password to log in, you’ll also enter a code from both your email and Authenticator.

This is designed to ensure that you're the only person who can access your account, even if someone else gets into your account or knows your password.

Access your security settings

To set up multi-factor authentication on Sellix and further secure your business with us, navigate to the security settings page.

Email authentication

This is a basic method of security but can help prevent attackers who have access to your password disrupt your business. To enable email authentication, simply toggle the switch on.

Two-factor authentication

This method of security is something we highly recommend. Simply tap "Add" and follow the instructions.

  1. Download the Google Authenticator app for Android or iOS

  2. Scan the generated barcode upon clicking on "Add"

  3. Save your recovery code (we won't recover your account without it)

  4. Enter the 6 digit OTP code displayed and click on "Verify"

...and you're done! You've successfully enabled two-factor authentication with Sellix, further advancing your digital security footprint.

What happens if I lose access to my Authenticator?

If you need to sign in to your account and you lost access to your Authenticator, try using one of the backup codes given to you when you enabled two-factor authentication. Each of your backup codes only works once.

We are unable to help recover your account without it. Our Risk Operations Team will not respond to requests for account recovery if two-factor authentication is enabled.
