What are RCON gaming products?

RCON products on Sellix enable merchants to sell in-game packages to their Minecraft, GTA, Ark Survival servers and more.

All games that operate with the RCON protocol are supported (source RCON protocol).

Configuration options

There are two main components when it comes to configuring delivery to your servers.

RCON Servers

First off, you'll have to create and connect your gaming servers to our platform, to do so head to the Dashboard β†’ Products β†’ RCON Servers

Products

After that, you can create a product and select "RCON Server Delivery" as the type.

Commands

A list of commands that will be sent to your server to add in-game items for that specific customer.

Command execution type

Either Automatic or Manual, it dictates whether or not Sellix should execute the command immediately.

If set to Automatic, we will attempt to deliver the package(s) to your customer immediately after the purchase.

If set to Manual, your customer will have to head to your customer portal (yourDomain.com/customer/dashboard).

When configuring the product with Automatic.

Command execution time

When configuring an Automatic product, you are also prompted for an execution time.

This means that the commands will be executed automatically only after this exact hour.

It is useful if you have pre-sales of your in-game packages and would like the delivery to happen only at a certain date or time.

Retries & what happens if the customer does not receive the package

Should we receive an error from your server during the delivery, after 5 attempts the package will be flagged as manual and your user will have the option to re-execute the command from their customer portal, following the same exact behavior as if the product execution type were set to Manual.

Invoices

On the invoices page in your Sellix dashboard, you'll be able to see all the commands and execution logs for each one of your products sold.

You are also able to re-execute certain commands, regardless of whether they succeeded or not.

EOSID and Server Choice

Your customers, during the checkout, will be prompted to enter their EOSID and to choose the server for which they're buying the package.

This all happens automatically and does not require any configuration on your end.
